Aegean Region is  one of the most important and famous  regions for olive oil production in the world. North Aegean olive oils are obtained from Ayvalık and Edremit varieties that are grown in Çanakkale, Balıkesir and İzmir. This olive oil is produced from the olives of Altınoluk-one of the North Aegean Region areas.

The color of the oil is greenish and it is very smooth.
